A Guide to Our Treatment Charges

We want to be transparent with our patients, so the following guide outlines typical charges for treatments available at our practice. Before starting any treatment, we’ll always discuss your options, explain the costs involved, and agree everything with you in advance. If any charges differ from those shown here, we’ll make sure you understand why.

Private Appointment Deposits

To secure a private appointment, we ask for a non-refundable deposit. This deposit is deducted from your treatment cost when you attend your appointment.

If the appointment is missed or cancelled without adequate notice, the deposit will not be refunded.

Your Initial Visit Includes: A detailed discussion about your dental and medical history A full examination of your teeth, gums, and mouth Any necessary X-rays to help identify issues beneath the surface Oral cancer screening A personalised treatment plan (if needed), including all options explained clearly If treatment is required, we’ll talk you through everything — from the recommended procedures to costs, timescales, and what to expect at each step. We’ll never carry out any treatment without your full understanding and consent.

Emergency Appointment

Emergency Dental Appointment non existing patient If you're in pain or need urgent dental care, we offer same-day emergency appointments (subject to availability) for £250. This fee includes: A full emergency assessment X-rays (if required) Diagnosis and explanation of the problem One of the following treatments (as clinically needed): • Temporary filling • Smoothing a sharp or broken tooth • Prescription for antibiotics or pain relief • Draining an abscess • Recementing a crown or bridge • Adjusting or repairing a denture • Tooth extraction (if straightforward and safe to carry out) If further treatment is needed beyond what's included, we’ll explain your options and provide a clear estimate before proceeding. We’re here to get you out of pain and back to smiling as quickly as possible.

Our dental professionals will carry out a gentle scale using hand instruments and/or an ultrasonic scaler, depending on your individual needs. This helps remove any light plaque or tartar build-up, leaving your teeth feeling clean and fresh. Regular maintenance appointments play a key role in preventing gum disease and keeping your smile healthy.

Enhanced Cleaning for Patients with Plaque and Tartar Build-Up This appointment is ideal for patients who require a more in-depth clean to remove moderate to heavy plaque or tartar deposits. A thorough clean will be carried out using a combination of hand instruments and/or ultrasonic scalers, tailored to your individual needs. To support your ongoing oral health, we’ll also provide personalised oral hygiene instructions to help you improve and maintain your routine at home. In some cases, a follow-up appointment may be recommended to ensure the best results and continued improvement.

Deep cleaning for Gum disease

Periodontal Maintenance for Patients with a History of Gum Disease For patients who have previously been diagnosed with gum (periodontal) disease, we offer a tailored approach to help manage and maintain long-term oral health. A comprehensive treatment plan will be discussed with you at your initial visit, but as a minimum, this periodontal maintenance package typically includes: Personalised oral hygiene advice with in-mouth demonstrations Interdental cleaning devices provided and explained Multiple deep cleaning appointments (minimum of 2 visits) Ongoing reviews of gum health at each visit A tailored treatment plan for long-term care and monitoring Stain removal using Airflow technology included in the price Our goal is to support you in stabilising gum health and preventing further progression, all in a professional and supportive environment.

White Fillings

White Fillings (Composite) – £140 to £200 White fillings are a natural-looking way to restore teeth affected by decay or damage. Made from tooth-coloured composite material, they blend seamlessly with your smile and are suitable for both front and back teeth. Benefits of white fillings: Aesthetic – blends with your natural tooth colour Strong and durable Mercury-free Bonds directly to the tooth structure for added strength The cost depends on the size and location of the filling, and your dentist will always provide a full estimate before starting any treatment.

Pulp extirpation

£250

Pulp Extirpation – £250 (Emergency root canal pain relief) Pulp extirpation is an emergency procedure used to relieve pain caused by an inflamed or infected dental nerve (pulp). It involves removing the infected or damaged pulp tissue from inside the tooth to reduce pressure, stop the pain, and stabilise the tooth. This treatment includes: Emergency assessment and X-rays (if needed) Access to the tooth and removal of the pulp Dressing placed inside the tooth to control infection Temporary sealing of the tooth

Root Canal Fillings

£400- £800

Root canal treatment is used to save a tooth that’s been badly damaged by decay, trauma, or infection. It involves carefully cleaning the inside of the tooth to remove infected tissue and then sealing it to prevent further problems. What’s included: Full clinical assessment and X-rays Removal of infected pulp and deep cleaning of the root canals Shaping and filling of the canals with specialist material Temporary or permanent restoration of the tooth (as advised) The cost depends on factors such as the number of roots, tooth position, and complexity of treatment (e.g. front vs molar teeth). Your dentist will explain your options and provide a tailored treatment plan before proceeding. Root canal treatment helps avoid extraction and can extend the life of your natural tooth for many years.

Inlay/Onlay

Inlays & Onlays – Custom Restorations for Damaged Teeth Inlays and onlays are strong, custom-made restorations used to repair teeth with moderate damage or decay — often when a filling isn’t quite enough but a full crown isn’t yet needed. An inlay fits inside the grooves of the tooth (like a filling) An onlay covers a larger area, extending over one or more cusps (the biting points) Benefits of Inlays/Onlays: Made from durable materials like porcelain or composite for strength and appearance Custom-made for a precise fit and natural look Preserve more of your natural tooth compared to a crown Long-lasting and resistant to wear These restorations are usually completed over two visits

Bridge
